THE WHITMAN METHOD

A whole-person approach to creating a life that feels like yours and one you feel alive in.

The Whitman Method is built around a simple idea: the way we feel about our lives is connected to how we nourish ourselves, move, rest, connect, explore and grow.

This isn’t about constantly trying to improve yourself. It’s about becoming curious about what helps you feel grounded, alive and more like yourself and creating room for those things in your everyday life.

You don’t need to reinvent your entire life. You can begin by paying attention to it.

WHAT IF LIFE WASN'T SOMETHING TO PERFECT?

Maybe your life looks perfectly fine from the outside.

You've built the career. Raised the family. Been the dependable one. Remembered the birthdays, made the appointments, showed up, figured things out and kept everything moving.

And somewhere in all of that, you got really good at knowing what everyone else needed.

But when was the last time someone asked what you wanted and you actually knew the answer?

There may be nothing wrong with your life.

You may simply be ready to feel like yourself in it again.

Remember who you are. Discover who you're becoming.

This isn't about going backward and trying to become who you were at 25.

Some parts of her may be worth finding again. Other parts you've outgrown. And there are parts of you that you haven't even met yet.

So we get curious.

What do you want more of? Less of?

What makes you feel alive?

What have you been postpoing?

You don't have to know exactly who you're becoming.

You discover yourself by living.

YOUR LIFE ISN'T LIVED IN PIECES.

Your health, relationships, work, energy, interests, sense of purpose and the way you spend your days don’t exist separately. They affect one another and together, they shape how your life feels.

The Whitman Method, a whole person wellness approach,  gives us six places to get curious about what’s supporting you, what feels out of alignment and what you might want more of.

Nourish

Move

Food as medicine. Eating in a way that supports how you want to feel.

Restore

Strength, movement, time outdoors and staying connected to your body.

Rest, stress, nervous-sysytem awareness and stepping out of constant survival mode.

Connect

Relationships, friendship, community, belonging and boundaries.

Curiosity, adventure, novelty, travel, experiences and play.

Explore

Grow

Identity, purpose, career, learning, spirituality and personal evolution.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO HAVE IT ALL FIGURED OUT.

Maybe you’re in the middle of a transition. Maybe nothing is particularly wrong. Maybe you simply have a feeling that there could be more to this chapter of your life.

Maybe you’ve been so busy being who everyone else needed you to be that you haven’t asked yourself what you want in a very long time.

You don’t need the answer before you begin.

You just need enough curiosity to start asking the question.

And if you’ve been reading this page thinking, “This is me,” pay attention to that.
